Make your own massage oil

This is actually much easier than you might expect. All you need to do is buy some grapeseed oil (which can be found in your local supermarket) or almond oil (at the pharmacy). These oils only cost a few dollars and they can be used as a massage oil just like that.

These oils have a great moisturizing effect on the skin, and they are a great source of minerals and vitamins, thus regenerating and toning your skin.

If you want to turn it up a notch, you can start from your grapeseed or almond oil and add a few drops of essential oil to them. Depending on the kind of essential oil, they can have a calming (lavender, geranium), vitalizing (rosemary, mint), uplifting (ylang-ylang, rose) of other effects.

These oils are taken up partly through the skin, but mainly through the nose. That means that they will also have an effect on the person performing the massage.
